Ride-Along Opportunity for PACE2019 Delegates

Delegates attending the 2019 Paramedicine Across Canada Expo can participate in a ride-along with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS).

WFPS provides fire and paramedic services to the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Winnipeg paramedics also operate two community paramedicine programs: the Main Street Project Paramedic which provide assessment and treatment at a crisis/drop-in shelter program, and Emergency Paramedic in the Community providing non-transport medical assistance to identified at-risk patients across the city.

The WFPS will provide 4 ride-along slots to PACE delegates on each of the following 12-hour shifts:

  • Days Wednesday September 18th
  • Nights September 18th
  • Days Thursday September 19th
  • Nights Thursday September 19th

Ride-along participants can be accommodated on any of the service platforms depending on individual interest.
